The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV series heading to Netflix

December 1, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in September it was announced that Riverdale showrunner Robert Aguirre-Sacasa is developing a Sabrina the Teenage Witch TV series entitled The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and now comes word that the show is heading to the streaming service Netflix.

Drawing from the critically acclaimed comic book series, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will reimagine the occult origins of Sabrina and is described as a “dark coming-of-age story which deals with horror, the occult, and witchcraft and will see Sabrina struggle to reconcile her dual nature of being half-witch and half-mortal while protecting her family and the world from the forces of evil.”

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is being written by Aguirre-Sacasa, with Lee Toland Krieger directing and Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Studios producing.
