Chris Evans answers: Is Captain America a virgin?

April 29, 2015 by admin

There are several questions that will always plague the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just how much control over the Hulk does Bruce Banner have? What is the science behind Iron Man’s suit? How does Thor keep his hair so beautiful? Questions that, most likely, will never have answers.

But thankfully, we have answer to one of the biggest questions ever: is Captain America a virgin?

“It’s funny when you think about it – he’s probably a virgin,” Evans told EW. “He’s probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would’ve happened.”

So, there you have it. Unless he had some super soldier time with one of the USO dancing girls? “He was on tour. That’s true,” he admits. “Maybe one of those [dancing] girls blew his mind. [Laughs] He’s probably just a good guy. He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter and he’s a little more old-fashioned in that sense. These are a lot of things that I think are giant conflicts, but they’re also very personal conflicts. He’s a very human guy. That’s why I like him.”

So, here’s the Flickering Myth SCOOP: the next Captain America movie will be a crossover with The 40-Year Old Virgin where Steve Carrell trains Steve Rogers how to lose his cherry. You heard it here first!
