So far, the buildup to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes taking on Thanos in an all-out battle for the ages throughout the two-part Avengers: Infinity War has seen the introduction of five of the six Infinity Stones (the Space Stone made its debut first in Captain America: The First Avenger, followed by the Loki’s scepter containing the Mind Stone in The Avengers, the Reality Stone in Thor: The Dark World, the Power Stone in Guardians of the Galaxy, with the latest reveal being the Eye of Agamotto/the Time Stone in Doctor Strange).
The sixth and final stone – the Soul Stone – used to piece together Thanos’ ultimate weapon, aptly named the Infinity Gauntlet, is apparently set to make an appearance “real soon” according to Thor himself Chris Hemsworth, who made the announcement during a fan Q&A session over the weekend at Australia’s Supernova Comic-Con.
Seeing as Thor: Ragnarok is set to release later this November, it seems very well possible that the film will see the introduction of the Soul Stone, perhaps in the possession of the villain Hela, played by Cate Blanchett. A fan theory has also suggested that Heimdall could hold the Soul Stone, given that his eyes are a similar colour, and he has the ability to see all of the souls across the Nine Realms.

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk.
Thor: Ragnarok is being directed by Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows) and features Marvel veterans Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimdall and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk alongside Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Sam Neill in an as-yet-unrevealed role. It is set for release on October 27th in the UK and November 3rd in the States.
