Back in December of last year it was reported that Sony had won a bidding war for the feature film rights to Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire’s graphic novel A.D.: After Death, and now Deadline is reporting that Christopher MacBride has signed on to write and direct.
MacBride previously wrote and directed the found footage thiller The Conspiracy, and is attached to several other projects, including the graphic novel adaptations Amnesia at Sony and Scout for Studio 8.
A.D.: After Death is set in a future where a genetic cure for death has been found. One man, years after the discovery of the cure, starts to question everything, leading him on a mind-bending journey that will bring him face-to-face with his past and his own mortality.
