Back in January, Warner Bros. announced that Christopher Nolan is getting back behind the camera for a new film set to arrive in 2020, although as you’d expect from a Nolan project, details were being kept tightly under wraps.
Well, filming has now commenced on the movie, and while things are still being kept tightly under wraps (and likely will be right up to release date), we do have a title at least – Tenet – along with a very brief logline which describes it as “an action epic evolving around the world of international espionage”.
Along with the title reveal, it has also been announced that Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Trilogy), Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals), Dimple Kapadia (Leela) and Clemence Poesy (In Bruges). They join the previously confirmed John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman), Robert Pattinson (High Life) and Elizabeth Debicki (Widows).
Tenet is set to open on July 17th 2020.
