Hot rumour! It is being reported that Christopher Nolan’s production company Syncopy is producing the next film in the James Bond franchise.
It has been known for some time that the high profile director was interested in making a Bond film one day. And plenty of fans have shared that desire, believing that Nolan’s style and out of the box thinking could make for a spectacular Bond entry.
Well, ahead of Nolan’s next release, Dunkirk, it has been discovered on IMDB Pro that his production company Syncopy are listed as the producers behind Bond 25.
According to a tweet by Birth.Movies.Death editor-at-large Phil Nobel Jr., IMDB Pro does indeed show this to be true.

And while Nobel first admitted that the veracity of these findings to be questionable, “nonsense” in his own words, a James Bond fan account, @Bond25Film, has apparently contacted IMDB and gained confirmation.
It appears that the rumours about SYNCOPY are true. IMDb has confirmed that #Bond25 is correctly listed under Nolan's production company. pic.twitter.com/3vy5sqPoS6

UPDATE: And now @Bond25Film is saying that the IMDB listing is NOT accurate after all…
UPDATE: @IMDb and IMDbPro are now removing #Bond25 from SYNCOPY's projects after *re-correcting* themselves. They messed up… Twice. pic.twitter.com/zhKav37rKz

Again, this is all shaky stuff, but if it happens to be true that Syncopy are indeed producing Bond 25, could it mean that Nolan himself will be stepping behind the camera?
It’s certainly something to think about.
