Rian Johnson’s Knives Out has already attracted a number of stellar actors and actresses, but the film is not quite done with its casting just yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Plummer (All The Money In The World) has begun talks to join Johnson’s murder mystery ensemble.
Plot details on Knives Out are being kept tightly under wraps, but the film is described as a “contemporary version of the locked door mansion murder mystery” told in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style. Production is expected to commence in November. Daniel Craig (Casino Royale) will portray the lead detective in charge of solving the murder.
Should Plummer join the film, he will star alongside Craig, Chris Evans (Avengers: Infinity War), Lakeith Stanfield (Sorry to Bother You), Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water), Don Johnson (Miami Vice), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween), Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049) and Toni Collette (Wanderlust) in this jam-packed ensemble piece.
