Clark Duke’s Arkansas adds John Malkovich, Michael K. Williams and Vivica A. Fox

November 5, 2018 by Ricky Church

After casting Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) and Vince Vaughn (True Detective) in Arkansas, the crime drama has added more talent in Clark Duke’s (Kick-Ass) directorial debut. Variety has revealed that John Malkovich (Mile 22), Michael K. Williams (Boardwalk Empire) and Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill Vol. 1) will join the pair in the film.

The film will see Hemsworth and Duke as “a pair of low level drug runners in the Dixie Mafia, who live by the orders of an Arkansas-based drug kingpin, played by Vaughn, whom they’ve never met. But when a deal goes horribly wrong, deadly consequences ensue.” No details have been given on the roles Malkovich, Williams and Fox will be portraying.

Malkovich will be seen next in the Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile while Williams gained a role in Netflix’s Central Park 5 miniseries and will be seen next in HBO’s Lovecraft County. Fox, meanwhile, will be seen in the sci-fi thriller Crossbreed and appears as a regular cast member on Empire.

In addition to directing and starring, Duke has also written the script for Arkansas, and filming is now underway in Alabama.
