Clint Eastwood has decided on his next directorial effort, with Deadline reporting that he’s set to helm an adaptation of The 15:17 To Paris: The True Story Of A Terrorist, A Train, And Three American Heroes.
The film will tell the true story of Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone, three American friends who were travelling on board a train from Brussels to Paris in August 2015, where they heroically tackled and overpowered an ISIS terrorist armed with an AK-47, averting what would surely have become a mass tragedy.
The adaptation has been penned by new screenwriter Dorothy Blyskal, and Eastwood is set to begin casting immediately with a view to shooting the film later in the year.
