Having been one of the most high-profile films to be disrupted during the pandemic, Jurassic World: Dominion is now being pieced together by Colin Trevorrow ‘in a converted barn behind his house in the U.K.’ and he has teased that we might be getting a look at some footage from the dino threequel “sooner than you think”.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about the current series of Netflix’s animated spin-off Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Trevorrow teased the start of the film’s promotional campaign, and while he didn’t confirm that this would be in the form of a trailer, he did say “It’s going to be sooner than you think. I can’t talk about it just yet. We’ve got something fun planned, and it has everything to do with getting people back into the movie theaters.”
Trevorrow returns to direct Jurassic World: Dominion, which features a cast that includes franchise returnees Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, Justice Smith, Danielle Pineda, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Isabella Sermon along with new additions DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Patti Cake$), Scott Haze (Venom), Campbell Scott (House of Cards), and Dichen Lachman (Altered Carbon). The film is set to be released on June 10th, 2022.
What do you think it could be? The opening of the movie or a special sneak peek preview before a big Universal tentpole like F9? Let us know by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
