With the cast and crew of Jurassic World embarking on the press tour ahead of the film’s release next week, director Colin Trevorrow has revealed to BadTaste.it that he won’t be returning to direct the sequel.
“Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie,” states Trevorrow. “I would be involved in some way, but not as director.”
As yet, there’s been no official confirmation on a follow-up to Jurassic World, but with the film tracking a $100 million plus opening at the North American box office, a fifth instalment in the dino franchise seems like a certainty.
