The current global health crisis has stopped production for a large number of film and television projects around the world, and now the Shudder original series Creepshow has been impacted with an indefinite halt on production for the second season.
The news comes from Creepshow showrunner Greg Nicotero who confirmed the delay on the second season of the horror anthology series – there are currently no details on when production will resume or if this will affect the release date. However, Nicotero offered a first look at a massive spider puppet which will be used for an episode in the upcoming season.

“Even though filming for Creepshow season 2 is delayed, I wanted to give you a little glimpse at one of the puppets in progress before ‘the pause,'” the showrunner shared on Instagram. “A wee bit more hair work and need to connect controllers for body and mandible articulation. It’s tough to get too close to this cause I am terrified of spiders but good therapy I guess.”
In the series, “a comic book comes to life in a series of twelve vignettes over six episodes, exploring terrors from murder to the supernatural and unexplainable. Haunted dollhouses, werewolves, murderous goblins, villainous trick-or-treaters, the dead, and medical marvels are just a few of the things to watch out for in this new series. You never know what will be on the next page.”
