CBS has announced that its long-running procedural series Criminal Minds is set to come to a close with a fifteenth and final season of ten episodes, which will shoot back-to-back with the remaining episodes of season fourteen.
The news of the show’s ending was confirmed by the official Criminal Minds Twitter account, with the following post:

Created by Jeff Davis, Criminal Minds follows a group of FBI behavioural profilers, and features an ensemble cast that currently includes Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, and Daniel Henney.
Season fourteen of Criminal Minds is currently airing on CBS. By the end of the fifteenth season, the show will have run for 325 episodes in total, making it one of the longest-running primetime shows in U.S. television history.
