Curse of the Dead Gods coming to Steam Early Access this March

February 7, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Focus Home Interactive and developer Passtech Games have announced they will be releasing their rogue-lite action adventure, Curse of the Dead Gods, on Steam early access on 3rd March.  Watch the new trailer below showcasing the game’s challenging gameplay and unique setting.

In Curse of the Dead Gods players venture into an accursed temple and travel the seemingly-infinite labyrinth killing monsters and malignant deities, while avoiding bottomless pits and deadly traps,

In their pursuit of untold riches, eternal life and divine powers, players will collect mystical Relics and an arsenal of weapons that will make them near enough unstoppable at the cost of curses.

“At the start of the EA, players will have access to what can be considered as about a third of the final content in production.” says Sylvain Passot, CEO at Passtech Games. “However, since each game is different with a large share of randomness, there is a lot to discover in this first segment! ‘

“Curse of the Dead Gods is a project close to our hearts, with many opportunities and possibilities for development. We would like to gather feedback and opinions from the community on the best route to take. Curse of the Dead Gods is a modular game with great replayability, and we believe that Early Access will make the most of it.” says Passot.

Throughout the game’s coming months there will be numerous updates bringing new temples to explore, new traps, more enemies to kill, more weapons to use and brand-new curses and relics.

Curse of the Dead Gods arrives on Steam early access on 3rd March.
