Deadline is reporting that Daisy Ridley has just wrapped filming on Sometimes I Think About Dying, an independent drama from director Rachel Lambert (In the Radiant City).
As well as serving as a producer, Ridley stars in the film as Fran, a young woman “who likes to think about dying. It brings sensation to her quiet life. When she makes the new guy at work laugh, it leads to more: a date, a slice of pie, a conversation, a spark. The only thing standing in their way is Fran herself.”
Sometimes I Think About Dying is based on the play Killers by Kevin Armento, who has writer the script with Stefanie Abel Horowitz, and Katy Wright-Mead. Ridley is joined in the film by an ensemble cast that includes Dave Merheje, Meg Stalter, Bree Elrod, Brittany O’Grady and Parvesh Cheena.
Next up from Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley is director Neil Burger’s The Marsh King’s Daughter, while she also recently signed on to the sci-fi thriller Mind Fall from director Mathieu Kassovitz (La Haine).
