The El Rey Network and Miramax have announced that Danny Trejo is heading back to the world of From Dusk Till Dawn, having signed on to appear in the second season of the TV adaptation, where he’ll play The Regulator, “horrifying agent of evil who has been summoned to perform a deadly errand.”
Trejo will join fellow newcomer Briana Evigan (Step Up 2) in the cast of the season two, where they’ll appear alongside the returning Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González, Brandon Soo Hoo, Madison Davenport and Jesse Garcia.
The second season of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is set to premiere late summer.
