As production on Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again continues ahead of its Disney+ premiere next year, Deadline is reporting that the series has enlisted Clark Johnson (The Wire, Evil) both as a recurring cast member, as well as a director on two of the show’s 18-episode run.
As per Deadline, Johnson will join a cast that includes Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal reprising their Netflix Daredevil roles as Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and Frank Castle, while new additions new additions include Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) as Vanessa Fisk and Michael Gandolfino (The Many Saints of Newark), Margarita Levieva (The Deuce), Michael Gaston (The Man in the High Castle), Arty Froushan (Carnival Row) and Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon) in as yet-unrevealed roles.

A veteran actor, Clark also has extensive experience behind the camera, where his directing credits include the likes of Homicide: Life of the Street, The Wire, The Shield, The Walking Dead, Homeland, Luke Cage, City on a Hill and Mayor of Kingstown.
Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again is coming to Disney+ in 2024.
