Mark your calendars, as David Fincher has announced that the second season of the acclaimed serial killer drama Mindhunter is set to hit Netflix this August.
“Yes, there is now [a date],” said Fincher during an appearance on The Treatment podcast (via EW). “I’m not sure, I guess I’m allowed to say it, but, yeah, it’s gonna be the 16th [of August].”
Mindhunter stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv as members of the FBI’s Behavioural Science Unit, who interview incarcerated serial killers in order to understand their thinking.
