The Flash’s journey to the big-screen hasn’t been one befitting of a character who can run at Mach 3.3, or 2,532 miles per hour, but should Barry Allen’s solo-outing be the success Warner Bros. hope, at least they’ll be ready to move much faster on a sequel following news that a script is already finished.
We’re all aware of the allegations against Ezra Miller and the problems they have caused Warner Bros. with the release of their $200M tentpole, and if you weren’t then they are back in the news again this week. Despite all of this Miller was back doing reshoots on the movie at the start of the month, and should The Flash survive the delays and endless scandals, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that a sequel script has already been penned by Aquaman writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
First introduced in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ezra Miller’s iteration of The Flash has since appeared in the similarly troubled Justice League movie, as well as making a small cameo in HBO Max’s Peacemaker series.
