Deadline is reporting that Dexter actor C.S. Lee has joined the cast of Netflix’s Cobra Kai for a key role in the sixth and final season of The Karate Kid sequel series.
As per the trade, Lee is set to take on the role of Master Kim Sun-Young, a South Korean martial artist who created ‘The Way of the Fist’ and taught his techniques to a number of U.S. veterans, including John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith). The character appeared in photograph form in the original The Karate Kid and was also played by Don Lee in a flashback sequence in Cobra Kai season 3.

Lee joins a cast that includes Ralph Macchio and William Zabka as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence as well as Kove, Griffith, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Vanessa Rubio, Peyton List and Dallas Dupree Young.
The first five seasons of Cobra Kai are available to stream now on Netflix.
