DIG VR sets release date with new trailer

October 4, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Wired Productions and developer Just Add Water have announced that their highly anticipated DIG VR will be released on 24th October on the Meta Quest.  A new trailer celebrating the release date announcement can be seen below…..

With DIG VR, players go to the town of Diglington to begin their journey into the art of operating diggers.  Players will be able to dig, delve and dredge with the help of their bright yellow digger and its assortment of attachments.

A Full Career Mode Campaign awaits players and will provide a range of challenging jobs that will require skill and dedication.  As players progress through the campaign they will be able to work their way up through four different diggers, from a small light-work type to a colossal machine. There will also be seven different attachments for players to fit onto their digger to help complete jobs, including Bucket, Breaker, Circular Saw, Auger, Trimmer, Compactor and Grabber.

As well as the Full Campaign Mode, DIG VR will also include a Zen Sandbox Mode, allowing players to relax and dig, and several quirky little mini-games.

DIG VR features:

  • Four different machines with a range of sizes and power, and 7 unique tool heads to unlock, such as Circular Saw, Auger and Trimmer.
  • More than 70 customisation options to unlock that will provide paints, decals and skins.
  • A Full Career Mode Campaign that will provide options for both serious and casual players.
  • Quirky mini-games to play or a relaxing sandbox mode.
  • Dynamic dig-able terrain in VR, which can be dug, moved and dumped.
  • Listen to 6 original radio stations with 45 songs featuring hard-hitting anthems, zen and chilled vibes and empowering tracks.

Look out for DIG VR arriving for the Meta Quest on 24th October.
