Not too long ago, Ice Age was a hit animated film franchise for the Fox brand. Now, Disney has taken it over and announced a brand-new entry into the long-running family film series.
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild is set for release on January 28th, with a first look trailer premiering during the Disney+ Day celebration.
This is the first Ice Age film since 2016’s Ice Age: Collision Course, which netted a $408.6 million box office off its $105 million budget. The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild will serve as the 20th anniversary for the franchise as well. Check out the trailer here…
Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild will be the sixth movie in the Ice Age franchise, and sees “wacky possum brothers Crash and Eddie (voiced by Seann William Scott and Josh Peck, respectively) as they return to the dinosaur-filled underground cavern, where adventuring weasel Buck (Simon Pegg) resides.”
The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild will begin streaming on Disney+ on January 28th, 2022.
