With uncertainty still surrounding the current global health crisis, Disney has announced that Pixar’s Soul and Disney Animation’s Raya and the Last Dragon have both had their release dates pushed back.
Soul, which features a voice cast led by Jamie Foxx, was originally set to open in the States on June 19th, and will instead arrive on November 20th. As a result, fantasy adventure Raya and the Last Dragon has been pushed from its November 25th date and is now slated to hit cinemas on March 12th 2021.
Along with Soul and Raya and the Last Dragon, Disney has also announced that it has removed an as-yet-unrevealed live-action project set for November 2021 from its release slate.
These release date updates follow on from the recent delays to Mulan, Jungle Cruise, Black Widow, Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, and the decision to dump Artemis Fowl direct to Disney+
