The Wrap is reporting that Djimon Hounsou has signed on to replace Brian Tyree Henry in the cast of Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place Part II, after the Atlanta star was forced to exit the sequel due to scheduling conflicts.
John Krasinski is returning to direct the sequel to the smash-hit horror-thriller, while Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Milicent Simmons are reprising their roles as the surviving members of the Abbott family alongside new cast addition Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders).
A Quiet Place Part II began shooting last month ahead of a release on March 20th 2020. Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, save for the fact that it will continue the story of Blunt’s Evelyn and her children as they fight for survival in a world overrun by extraterrestrial creatures who hunt by sound.
