Prime Video has debuted the first trailer for Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the upcoming small screen reimagining of the 2005 Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie headlined action comedy.
The series stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as two strangers working for a mysterious espionage company who are brought together and given new identities with an arranged marriage in order to complete high-risk missions, but soon begin to catch feelings for each other which adds complications to their complex cover story. In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, two lonely strangers land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels, and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. The catch? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now hitched, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission every week while also facing a new relationship milestone.
