Dragon Quest fans will be excited to hear that Square Enix’ Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will arrive on the Playstation 4 and Steam on 4th September. The long awaited eleventh title in the series from creator Yuji Horii will take gamers on a quest in a beautifully detailed world. In Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age players will follow a young adventurer on his quest to discover what became of him in a past life. After taking part in a Coming of Age ceremony he discovers that he was once a legendary hero but after telling his king this he is hunted by the king’s relentless army.
The game will feature a good supply of supporting characters, a finely tuned turn based combat system, an immersive story and plenty of side quests and mini games. The western version of the game will also feature:
- English voiceover.
- Draconian Quest mode – a hard mode providing additional challenges.
- Overhauled Menus and UI – with graphical and navigational enhancements.
- A Camera Mode that allows players to take in views of the landscape etc.
Those who pre-order on the Playstation Store will receive an exclusive PS4 theme and some in-game DLC items including Vest for Success, Seed of Skill and Über Agate of Evolution.
