DreamWorks has announced that it is reuniting the voice cast of last year’s hit Trolls movie for the animated special Trolls Holiday, which is set to premiere on NBC in November before making its way to DVD and Netflix.
Trolls Holiday continues the story of the Trolls and the Bergens and features the return of voice actors Anna Kendrick as Poppy, Justin Timberlake as Branch and Zooey Deschanel as Bridget. Here’s the official synopsis…
When Poppy, queen of the Trolls, realizes that the Bergens’ calendar has no holidays to celebrate, she enlists Branch and the Snack Pack in a mission to enlighten her best friend Bridget and the rest of the Bergens about the importance of holidays. Can these two mismatched friends find something meaningful to celebrate, even if it’s super tiny?
Trolls Holiday will air on NBC on Friday November 24th, before hitting DVD and Digital on November 28th and Netflix on December 6th. It will be followed in January by the new Netflix animated series DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On.
