Today’s full release of Dune: Spice Wars brings the first major update since the game entered Early Access. This major update brings much more content for players to enjoy, including the addition of House Ecaz, a new playable faction with their own unique strengths. House Ecaz has a highly trained and proud military making them another powerful and dangerous opponent on an already deadly planet.
In Dune: Spice Wars players become the leader of the forces of one of the Great Houses of the Imperium and arrive on the sandy planet of Arrakis to gain control of the flow of the valuable Spice. The other Houses of the Imperium also desire control of this valuable substance so players will need to use espionage, economy and even war to gain control of the Spice.
Nicolas Cannasse, CEO of Shiro Games, says: “After over three years of work we are thrilled at the opportunity to invite players to join us on Arrakis as Dune: Spice Wars launches into 1.0. Many here at Shiro Games have spent countless hours immersed in this world, be it through the books, board games, movies, or any of the other adaptations. We are very proud to have worked on this iconic series, and hope that our players enjoy their time on Arrakis!”
Dune: Spice Wars is available now on PC, priced £29.50/$34.99.
