A PvP feature within Dying Light has been much requested by fans of the game for a good while and at the end of last year Techland answered fan’s prayers by announcing a new standalone expansion, Dying Light: Bad Blood. Today, Techland have revealed that this new online brutal royale mode will be available this September for PC gamers via Steam Early Access.
Players can join the Early Access by purchasing the Founder’s Pack which includes the game, in-game currency and exclusive in-game content. Among this exclusive content will be 3 Legendary skins that will be delivered to players throughout the 3 months following the game’s launch.
During the Early Access phase the developers will balance the core aspects of the game using player feedback and provide free content updates that include new maps, modes and in-game items.
In Dying Light: Bad Blood 12 players will enter the zombie infested city where they must scavenge for weapons, destroy zombie hives to level up and use their parkour and combat skills to ensure they are the only one who leaves.
“We’ve always been keen to add more PvP multiplayer to Dying Light. We’ve read all of the messages from players on social media and forums, and multiplayer has been a hot topic. We’ve also seen how players have embraced Be the Zombie and that inspired us to expand on multiplayer. But we want to do it in the Dying Light way, where this world swarming with infected is just as much a threat as the other players.” — says Maciej Łączny, Executive Producer. “This is how Dying Light: Bad Blood came to life, a game based on these key principles: the freedom and fast pace of parkour movement, the constant threat of the Infected, and the creative brutality of melee combat. Combined they offer an all-new brutal royale experience. Now we encourage the community to help us fine-tune the game before its release.”
Look out for Dying Light: Bad Blood arriving on Steam Early Access this September.
