According to Screen Daily, Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) and Maika Monroe (It Follows) are set to star in The Education of Fredrick Fitzell, the new film from writer-director Christopher MacBride (The Conspiracy).
According to the site, the film is set to begin production this summer and follows a man who, after a chance encounter, literally and metaphorically journeys into his past. It is being produced by Lee Kim of Resolute Films, with Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder of Addictive Pictures serving as executive producers.
O’Brien was last seen in Maze Runner: The Death Cure and is currently gearing up to shoot crime drama The Bayou. Monroe meanwhile has Hot Summer Nights releasing this July [watch the trailer here], while her upcoming projects include Tau, The Widow, Villains and Stockholm.
