EA announces new Capital Supremacy game mode for Star Wars Battlefront II

March 23, 2019 by Gary Collinson

EA has announced the upcoming launch of the brand new game mode Capital Supremacy for Star Wars Battlefront II, which will task players with winning a planetary battle, gaining access to the opposing team’s capital ship, and destroying it.

Capital Supremacy will be a 20 v 20 game mode, with a further 12 AI controlled units per team during the first planetary phase of the battle. Team will start out capturing five Command Posts, which earns tickets in preparation for the attack upon the enemy Capital Ship. The attacking team will have to override one of two doors and plant devices to destroy critical ship systems, but should the ticket account reach zero before this is complete the combat will then return to the planetary surface.

Capital Supremacy will be part of Battlefront II’s Clone Wars experience, and as such Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Chewbacca, General Grievous, Count Dooku, Darth Maul and Bossk will be available as playable heroes.

Visit the official EA Battlefront forum here for more information on the new game mode.
