Echo featurette introduces Marvel’s new queen

With less than two weeks to go until Echo premieres on Disney+, Marvel Studios has released a new featurette for the MCU series which sees star Alaqua Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, and director Sydney Freeland discussing the show’s title character Maya Lopez; watch it below…

The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.

Echo sees Alaqua Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Zahn McClarnon reprising their roles from Hawkeye with Charlie Cox also featuring alongside Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene.

Echo is set to premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on January 9th.
