Alaqua Cox gears up to bring Disney+ and the Marvel shows in a new direction as the streamer just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming series Echo, starring Cox, and the Hawkeye/Daredevil spin-off will be the first ever TV-MA series for Marvel.
In Echo, Maya is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire following the events of Hawkeye. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her family and legacy. With the more adult tone and connections to Daredevil, it’s no surprise that the series feels more like the Marvel Netflix projects than anything Marvel Studios has done for Disney+ before.
Along with Alaqua Cox, Charlie Cox, and Vincent D’Onofrio, Echo will see Zahn McClarnon reprising his Hawkeye role as Maya’s father, William Lopez, while the rest of the cast includes Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene.
Check out the first look below, and just like the trailer tells viewers, set your Disney+ profile to TV-MA to stream…
All episodes of Echo will drop at once on Jan. 10, 2024, on both Disney Plus and Hulu. Echo will only be available through Hulu until April 9, 2024.
