We’ve seen sequels to Hostel and Cabin Fever, but director Eli Roth feels there’s still more.
During a recent interview promoting his new slasher Thanksgiving [read our review here], the filmmaker teased a return to the franchises that he made famous but that also put him on the map.
Speaking with CinePOP, Roth opens up about his rocky relationship with Hostel and Cabin Fever, telling the outlet:
“Hostel – there’s a lot more to do. I’d love to go back to Hostel at some point. And Cabin Fever, as well. They’re a part of me, like my children, and I feel like I’ve been ignoring them for too long. I’d love to go back to them in some way. I have ideas. I would direct it. I don’t want them in anyone else’s hands.”
