Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studio have announced the release of their post-apocalyptic city-builder Endzone: A World Apart on Steam Early Access and GOG In Development. A new launch trailer can be seen below….
In Endzone: A World Apart players are tasked with rebuilding civilisation in a world torn apart by a cataclysmic nuclear event. It’s been 150 years since terrorists attacked the world’s nuclear powerstations and the globe is still reeling from the effects of radiation, the world is barely fit for human habitation but the remnants of humanity must climb out of the bunkers and prepare to rebuild.
The world is a dangerous place and once players lead their people out of their protective bunker they will find that the radiation has affected everything and is still at deadly levels in certain areas. Players will be tasked with creating a new settlement with a thriving ecosystem while surviving a hazardous environment filled with radiation, contaminated rain and extreme climate change. By providing their citizens with shelter, food and water, humanity may just have a chance of survival.
“The Early Access launch of Endzone: A World Apart is an especially exciting one as it is something totally new in our publishing catalog and our biggest project to date,” said Assemble Entertainment CEO Stefan Marcinek. “The response has been immensely positive; whether you’re a hardcore survival simulation fan or a casual player, Endzone has something to offer.”
Endzone: A World Apart is available now on Steam Early Access and GOG.
