Warner Bros. has announced that The Cosby Show and Living Single actress Erika Alexander has signed on for a recurring guest role in the second season of The CW’s DC superhero show Black Lightning.
Alexander is set to portray Perenna, “a therapist with telepathic abilities that works with Jennifer (China Anne McClain) to help her handle her manifesting powers and the complex bundle of emotions they stir up.”
The actress’ recent credits include Bosch and Get Out, and she will soon be seen opposite Helen Hunt in the horror thriller I See You, along with a role in HBO’s Insecure.
