Although he found himself in hot water after the all-female cast announcement, Ernie Hudson has turned a corner on the Ghostbusters reboot by first showing his excitement, then filming a cameo and now he’s saying even more positive things about Paul Feig’s movie.
“I have a cameo”, he told Entertainment Weekly. “I came back, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney [Weaver], Annie Potts. So we all came to support the film. [The cast are] extraordinarily funny and there’s a great chemistry with them. I think it’s going to be very good. The script I knew was good. I knew the special effects would be amazing. But I was really pleasantly surprised to see how the women kind of gelled together”.
Not sure how surprising it really is since they all worked on Saturday Night Live together and Kristin Wiig and Melissa McCarthy starred alongside each other in Bridesmaids.
We still don’t have a trailer for Ghostbusters, which is out in a couple of months, but one should be arriving in March.
