Evangeline Lilly has shared her reaction to learning the Wasp’s fate after Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War.
Avengers: Infinity War certainly shook things up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanos’ murderous actions have dramatically changed this fictional world and impacted a multitude of characters.
One character that didn’t survive Thanos’ snap was Evangeline Lilly’s the Wasp, revealed in a post-credits scene for Ant-Man and the Wasp. But how did Lilly feel about learning her fate? Well, not that great, she told Cinema Blend:
“My honest reaction was, ‘Okay, so how is she going to get out of this?’ And my kind of full reaction was like, ‘Hang on a minute! I just got here! You can’t kill me already! I just got here!'”
Of course, it’s highly unlikely that we’ve seen the last of Lilly, the Wasp, or many of the other characters that perished at the hands of Thanos. We will have to wait until Avengers 4 to see how it all shakes out but fans of the character surely won’t need to panic just yet.
