A new dynamic duo has been born with the must-see combo of Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway pairing up.
In a new report confirmed by THR, David Robert Mitchell is gearing up for a new film that sees McGregor and Hathaway in lead roles. The plot and title are still under wraps and will be released by Warner.
The new film is reportedly described as a family adventure set in the 1980s involving dinosaurs. Hathaway and McGregor will play a couple and the parents, while the roles of the children have yet to be cast. Mitchell will produce the project alongside J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot. Matt Jackson’s Jackson Pictures banner will also produce the film.
Mitchell’s still-untitled project will be written by the It Follows filmmaker, serving as his follow-up to the criminally underrated Under the Silver Lake. The director also has a sequel to It Follows in the works titled They Follow.
McGregor is currently promoting Bleeding Love, in which he stars alongside his daughter Clara McGregor [read our review here]. He also recently appeared in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Hathaway is coming off a busy 2023, which included Eileen and She Came to Me. The trailer for her upcoming project, Mothers’ Instinct, also recently dropped.
