WARNING – Spoilers for Iron Man 3…
At a rather chilly World Premiere for Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings, Flickering Myth had the chance to catch up with Sir Ben Kingsley to ask him about the latest on Trevor Slattery/The Mandarin.

The last we saw of him was in the one-shot All Hail the King on the Thor: The Dark World home release where he was taken to see the “real Mandarin”. But, according to Kingsley, that’s not quite the case.
“I saw him down there,” Kingsley suggests while slipping into the Slattery accent. “He shouted, ‘Ben! Ben!’ and I didn’t recognise him! I thought he was someone else. But he’s in rehab.”
Oh dear – a fall from grace it would seem for the once great “Mandarin”…
Exodus: Gods and Kings is set for release on December 12th in the States and on Boxing Day in the UK. Featuring in the cast are Christian Bale (American Hustle), Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), John Turturro (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), Sigourney Weaver (Avatar), Emun Elliott (Prometheus), María Valverde (Cracks), Golshifteh Farahani (Body of Lies), and Indira Varma (Game of Thrones).
