EJ Moreno sits down with Edward Douglas to discuss the VFX of The Monkey…
Crafting the visual look and style for something like The Monkey is no easy task. From matching the tone written by Oz Perkins to accenting some of the more outlandish kills, no one knows how tedious this could be unless you’ve done it before. During our conversation, we discussed their work together and some of Douglas’s earliest credits within the film industry, including a fairly infamous Uwe Boll film. Check out the interview below, and be sure to follow us on YouTube for more reviews, exclusive interviews, and other video content…
When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree, forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy.
The Monkey sees Theo James starring alongside Tatiana Maslany, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, and Sarah Levy, with Adam Scott and Elijah Wood.
