Exclusive UK poster for Jellyfish starring Liv Hill

January 23, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Ahead of its UK release next month, we’ve got an exclusive UK quad poster for Jellyfish, the acclaimed debut feature from director James Gardner, which stars Liv Hill (Three Girls, The Little Stranger) in a BIFA-nominated lead performance as a young carer who discovers an unlikely talent for stand-up comedy.

In Jellyfish, Hill plays Sarah, a young girl who cares for her siblings and, more often than not, her own mother in modern day Margate. Sarah cooks for her siblings, picks them up from school, pays the bills and does all that she can to keep her family together. Trying to balance these responsibilities with her school work has created a very delicate status quo that is shattered when Sarah, encouraged by her drama teacher, discovers a talent for stand up comedy. As she pursues her newfound passion, the precarious balance of her life threatens to tumble out of control.

Jellyfish is set for release in UK cinemas on February 15th 2019.
