If you’re a fan of Chris Hemsworth’s action franchise Extraction, rejoice as a third installment is on the way.
Extraction 3 will head to Netflix in the coming years. The announcement came from director Sam Hargrave, who dropped the news at Netflix’s TUDUM event following the successful launch of Extraction 2 this week.
Many fans have praised the latest installment, highlighting impressive work like the sequel’s use of a singular shot for a 21-minute action sequence. Extraction 2 sits at a critical score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes with an audience score of 89%.

The first film premiered in 2020 and became a cult classic among action fans; now, as we enter the first weekend of the latest Extraction, we’ll see if the fanbase has grown since.
