After becoming an unexpected smash hit on Netflix in the UK over the past few weeks, nudged out only by the Netflix Original Luther: The Fallen Sun, Deadline is reporting that a sequel is now in the works to last year’s vertigo-inducing survival thriller Fall.
As per the trade, director Scott Mann and British producer Tea Shop Productions are currently plotting a follow-up to the first film, which sees Grace Caroline Currey (Shazam! Fury of the Gods) and Virginia Gardner (Gaslit) as two friends who find themselves stuck up a 2,000-foot radio tower in the desert.
While the project is in its earliest stages and details are scarce, the filmmakers are said to be looking to “unsettle audiences with another terrifying tale set at a great height.”

“We’ve got a couple of ideas we’re kicking around,” said producer James Harris, who revealed the plan is to get moving on the sequel later this year. “We don’t want to make something that feels like a copycat or less than the first one.”
