Deadline is reporting that Famke Jansson has signed on to appear in Michael Caton-Jones’ new film Asher, where she will star alongside Ron Perlman, Richard Dreyfuss, Peter Facinelli and Nadine Velazquez.
Asher has been penned by Jay Zaretsky and follows a Mossad member-turned-gun-for-hire in New York who is living the good life but at the end of his career. When one of his final gigs goes upside down on a job involving a woman, he has to make a life-altering decision.
Janssen is currently starring in the NBC series The Blacklist: Redemption, and will next be seen on the big screen alongside Bruce Willis in Once Upon a Time in Venice, which opens in June.
