As production on the film continues, Deadline is reporting that Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan) has become the latest addition to the cast of the Fast & Furious spinoff film Hobbs and Shaw, reuniting with his Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch.
Hobbs and Shaw sees Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprising their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw respectively, with the duo forming an unlikely alliance to take on a new villain played by Idris Elba (Luther). Helen Mirren reprises her The Fate of the Furious role as Magdalene Shaw, while Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) has also joined the cast.

British actor Marsan was most recently seen in the crime thriller White Boy Rick, and has Andy Serkis’ Mowgli and Adam McKay’s Vice on his upcoming slate.
Hobbs and Shaw is set for release on August 2nd 2019.
