Fast & Furious franchise writer Chris Morgan has confirmed that the mysterious villain from Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw will return in future movies.
With the sprawling and interconnected nature of the Fast & Furious universe, plot points can be started in one installment and then picked up in another. This is exactly what’s going to happen with the mystery villain from Hobbs & Shaw known as The Director.
Franchise writer Chris Morgan spoke to Screen Rant and told them that this plot point will continue in the future: “This speaks specifically to being able to tell a story in a cinematic universe where not everything has to be jammed into one story, one thing. That is an ongoing reveal. I would direct the audience to… just hold on.”
