With less than a month to go before it goes live, FIFA 18 has already been hyping sports fans in the gaming world! We imagine that there are so many people that can’t wait for Electronic Arts’ (EA) latest iteration! The hype is evident for FIFA 18 since it brings new things to the table with lots of improvements and better gameplay, including cutting-edge graphics. FIFA fans are excited to find new ratings for their soccer players.
There are lots of alterations to make this time around since there have been plenty of upsets in this recent year of soccer. EA makes sure that player ratings within FIFA 18 reflect that correctly. While all is hunky-dory on the Ronaldo-Messi front, more players are eager to see how well their favorite players did this year. We won’t be focusing on the top dogs in this article. Instead, we’ll be taking a look at the more underrated players. Hold onto your FIFA Coins and see our list below for the most deserving players that deserve huge ratings boost in FIFA 18!
1. Hector Bellerín
To be fair, Hector Bellerin isn’t exactly unpopular with his strange fashion choices, but he’s underrated most of the time by many fans, considering him as a pretty face with an odd taste. Compared to other high-profile names, such as Ibrahimovic or Neymar, Hector Bellerin isn’t quite as high on the list as you’d want him to be. Through the years, he just hasn’t had the opportunity to outshine the competition as he should. However, in recent years, he’s become one of the best right-backs in all of Europe, defending that position for Arsenal. On the other hand, he’s improved in the past year, not only as an amazing right-back but also with fantastic ball control and improving on his logic functions in footballing. He’s an undeniable threat when kept unchecked on the right and can pummel down even the greats when given a chance.
With a meager 79 rating in FIFA 17, we’re hopeful that he gets a much higher rating in FIFA 18 around the mid to late 80s. Bellerin is better than what is on his previous stats; probably something around 85 or 86 is to be expected for the young Spaniard.
2. Moussa Dembélé
While many soccer players love new blood in the sport, it can be difficult for a newbie to get his bearings in an industry filled with so much incredible talent. Well, that isn’t true for Moussa Dembélé. Only 21 years of age, the Celtic-playing French player has shown that he can hang tight with the greats of this generation with his pure energy and raw skill. That’s not to say that he doesn’t have any technical prowess as he’s proven that his dribbling and ball control are amazing assets that have served him well throughout his career. You’ll hardly ever see Dembélé lose control of the ball. In fact, we don’t think we’ve ever seen that happen!
Moussa Dembélé already has a decent rating of 82 in FIFA 17, but his improvement in the past year certainly makes him deserving of a higher one like 85 in FIFA 18. If he keeps this pace up, we might as well be looking at a future Ballon d’Or winner.
3. Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard has proven himself to be indispensable for any club he gets into. Everybody wants him now since he is a huge asset and one of the best wingers of this generation. However, he wasn’t always like that as his performances in 2015/16 caused some doubt in his skill.
When 2016/17 rolled by, he took it all back with his skilled dribbling and intuitive running, putting players like David de Gea on notice. The lack of any other outstanding performances in the Premier League has given Hazard another chance in the limelight, destroying all their competition with his finely honed skills and brilliant mind for soccer. Also, he’s able to clutch out game-changing plays and has proven to be an asset that Chelsea should never lose.
In FIFA 17, he already has the remarkable rating of 88, but his performance as of late has shown that he deserves to be one of the real top dogs of this generation. We feel that, in FIFA 18, he should get a 91 (at least) and a 92 (at most). There is no doubting Hazard’s skill now.
