Although we’re still a little over a month away from the release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Legendary Pictures has already completed production on the next instalment of the MonsterVerse, with director Adam Wingard making the announcement on Instagram that filming has wrapped on Godzilla vs. Kong.
The film will bring together the King of the Monsters as featured in 2014’s Godzilla and next month’s sequel, as he clashes against another of cinemas most iconic monsters in King Kong from 2017’s Kong: Skull Island. It will be the second time the two titans have clashed on the big screen after Toho’s 1962 crossover King Kong vs. Godzilla.
