If you thought the adult world of The Boys was wild, wait until we see what this universe looks like in college. Today, we’ve learned of the first two students entering this Voight-owned university with Jaz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway set to join Amazon’s as-yet-untitled spinoff to the hit comic book adaptation.
Jaz Sinclair is known for her work as Rosalind Walker in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where she starred on the cult series for four seasons. Lizze Broadway starred in the recent female-focused American Pie film called American Pie Presents Girls’ Rules and featured on the HBO series Here and Now. Sinclair will portray a young supe named Marie, and Broadway will play another supe who goes by the name of Emma.
While little is known about the new show, it’s described as seeing the training ground for the superheroes in a “Hunger Games-esque college for superheroes run by Vought International.” While it will feature a cast of young adults, the creators behind this series promise the usual madness you’ll see in The Boys.
Craig Rosenberg, writer for The Boys, will serve as the showrunner for this spin-off. The showrunner for the award-winning superhero series Eric Kripke also serves as an executive producer alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, and comic book creators Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
